Included in the Natural Park of Madeira, in the eastern part of the Island, after passing the Caniçal, can be considered the division between the north and the south of Madeira.

During the trip you can see the incredible landscapes of the north and south coast of the Island. Strong point is the calm of the South Sea when compared to the rebellion of the North Sea. To the south we can see the Desertas Islands and to the north the island of Porto Santo.

Along this trail you can also see very peculiar rock formations, with varied details, resulting from the volcanic origin of Madeira.
