With its beginnings in Encumeada, hikers will find a small variety of landscapes and trails to Lombo do Mouro, passing through the Pinnacle and Levada do Norte and Levada da Serra.

With its almost 17 km, sometimes some physical resistance is required, as it has several tunnels and an altitude that varies between 930 and 1530 meters. However, you will see all the extra effort compensated by being presented with the beautiful landscapes and dense endemic vegetation of the Laurissilva. Along the way you will find a lagoon, so some waterfalls.

In the pinnacle area, on a good weather day, the panorama is unparalleled, especially the Ribeira Brava Valley and the two highest peaks of Madeira Island (Pico Ruivo with 1861m and Pico do Areeiro with 1817m). Strongly recommended!
