The fireworks show lasts about eight minutes and is spread over several fireworks located in the Funchal theatre, on the seafront and downtown, at sea and a station on the island of Porto Santo.
This glorious spectacle, one of the most important tourist attractions in Madeira, was recognized internationally, by the Guinness Book of Records in 2006, as "The greatest fireworks display in the world".
